Cheesy Meaty Lasagna
/INGREDIENTS
Lasagna Pasta (12 panels): Wide noodles that create three structured layers — the foundation of a classic, cozy lasagna.
Meaty Marinara (1 1/2 cups, divided): Rich, hearty sauce that brings all the savory depth. Use the Delecticious version for maximum flavor or your favorite jarred marinara. Don’t forget a little extra for the bottom of the dish to keep everything moist.
Ricotta Mixture (1 1/2 cups, divided): A creamy blend of ricotta, Parmesan, and fresh parsley that adds softness and richness to every bite.
Grated Parmesan (3/4 cup, divided): Nutty, salty goodness that melts into each layer and gives the lasagna its signature savory finish.
Fresh Parsley (dash): A bright, fresh sprinkle on top that adds color and a little lift to the final dish.

Preparing the pasta and ricotta mixture.

Prepare the baking dish with a layer of sauce and add the first layer of pasta.
THEN…
Complete the layers of 1. pasta, 2. ricotta mixture, 3. sauce, 4. cheese until you complete the three layers.
FINALLY…
Cover with aluminum foil and cook 20 minutes covered and another 20 minutes uncovered. Serve it hot and enjoy!

Cheesy Meaty Lasagna

- Preheat the oven to 375(f)
- Prepare the 12 panels of lasagna pasta (for 3 layers), per the instructions of the type of pasta you have. You may need to cut the panels to the size of your baking dish, if you use a smaller than typical lasagna baking dish (9x13), like I did (10.5x7.5). I used a pizza slicer for this.
- Spread a layer of sauce on the bottom of your baking dish.
- Lay 3 panels over the sauce, then spread a layer of the ricotta mixture, a layer of meat sauce over the ricotta, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and shredded Parmesan. Repeat Step 3 two more times so you have 3 layers.
- Cover with aluminum foil and cook for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for another 20 minutes.
