Grandma B's Meatballs & Spaghetti
/Some dishes just feel like home, and Grandma B’s meatballs and spaghetti is one of those forever‑comfort classics. The slow‑simmered sauce, the tender meatballs, the whole cozy vibe — it’s pure nostalgia in a bowl. Every time I make it, it tastes like a warm hug from my grandma.
START BY preparing the ingredients.
This will make the cooking and assembling process go more smoothly.
NOW WE’RE COOKING…
FIRST, make the meatballs.
Follow this recipe for Grandma B’s super delicious meatballs. I made a big batch and froze some of the cooked meatballs for future recipes. They’ll last 2-3 months in the freezer.
NEXT, make the sauce.
Make the marinara sauce (recipe here) or choose your favorite bottled version. Add the meatballs and sautéed mushrooms to the sauce. Feel free to add other ingredients you may like to your spaghetti sauce.
THEN, cook the pasta.
Cook your spaghetti pasta. This Buitoni fresh pasta is amazing if you don’t have time to make your own. Safeway has a good selection of these fresh pasta.
FINALLY, mix the pasta with the sauce.
Once you’ve drained the pasta, add it back to the pan you cooked it in. Then spoon over desired amount of sauce and mix together. Serve with fresh grated parmesan over.
