Turkey Leftovers & Sausage Chili

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage and in a 5 quart dutch oven. Removed the browned sausage and set aside.
  2. Saute the onion and garlic in the sausage greese until softened.
  3. Add the cubbed turkey and browned sausage to the pan and stir together.
  4. Add the seasonings and all the other ingredients and stir well.
  5. Set heat to low and cook 6 - 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve with your favorite toppings (shredded cheese, sour cream, diced green onion or chives, cubed avocado, diced red onion)

Notes

This chili will freeze well for up to 6 months.
