/The addition of sausage and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce make this turkey leftovers chili special.

- Brown sausage and in a 5 quart dutch oven. Removed the browned sausage and set aside.
- Saute the onion and garlic in the sausage greese until softened.
- Add the cubbed turkey and browned sausage to the pan and stir together.
- Add the seasonings and all the other ingredients and stir well.
- Set heat to low and cook 6 - 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with your favorite toppings (shredded cheese, sour cream, diced green onion or chives, cubed avocado, diced red onion)
Notes
This chili will freeze well for up to 6 months.
