Easy Peasy Baguette Pizza Bites
/These baguette pizza bites are a crunchy meaty pizza delightful appetizer for your Super Bowl party!
INGREDIENTS
Baguette: The perfect shortcut “crust” — crisp on the outside, soft inside, and ready to load with toppings.
Olive Oil: A quick drizzle adds a little richness to the pizza.
Provolone Slices: Melt‑friendly and mild, it creates the first gooey layer and keeps the sauce from soaking into the bread.
Bolognese & Mushroom Sauce: Use our homemade Delecticious version or grab a jar of your favorite brand (ROA’s Homestyle Bolognese is a great pick).
Grated Parmesan Cheese: A salty, nutty sprinkle that boosts every bite.
Shredded Mozzarella: The classic pizza melt — gooey, stretchy, and essential for that cheesy top layer.
Sliced Pepperoni: Paired with the hearty bolognese sauce (loaded with meat, mushrooms and olives), it brings all the “everything pizza” vibes your party friends will love.
Fresh Parsley A tiny touch of green for freshness and color right at the end.
STEP ONE: CUT THE BREAD & BROIL THE PROVOLONE LAYER
Cut the baguette in half, and each half in half lengthwise, so you have four long pieces.
Drizzle the cut side of each bread piece with olive oil and then layer Provolone cheese slices over. Broil for 3 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
STEP TWO: ADD THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS & BAKE
Layer the bolognese sauce over the melted cheese. Then sprinkle the Parmesan over, sprinkle the mozzarella over that reserving a little, and add the pepperoni slices. Sprinkle the reserved mozzarella over the pepperoni and cook at 400 (f) for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it — the pizza should be melty and cooked through.
LASTLY: CUT AND SERVE
Cut the pizzas into appertizer size servings. Your friends will love these crunchy, melty, flavor loaded pizza bites.
